My Favorite Animal The Polar Bear

Polar bears are large, white to peachy bears with a black nose, small black eyes, fairly small ears, and a neck that is a bit bigger then other bears necks. Under the white fur it has light black skin. Polar bears also have webbed front paws to help them in swimming. The polar bear is much larger then normal bears, male polar bears can reach 8 to 9 ft (2.4 to 2.7 m) in body length, 4 ft (1.2 m) at the shoulder, and more than 10 ft (3 m) when standing on their big back legs. Males commonly weigh 900 to 1,300 lb (400 to 590 kg), although most large males have been recorded to weigh in excess of 2,000 lb. (907 kg) and stood more than 12 ft (3.6 m) long . The average female body length ranges from about 6 to 7 ft (1.8 to 2.1 m), and they weighed about 450 to 600 lb (200 to 270 kg). Polar bears have a wide range of diets. They can eat seals, walruses, beluga whales, certain types of fish, birds, rodents, shellfish, crabs, musk oxen or Still, reindeer and musk oxen can easily outrun a polar bear because polar bears overheat very quickly. These polar bears are found in the arctic regions. Its binomial name is Ursus maritimus or Thalarctos maritimus. Polar bears are big mammals so they are aggressive and they are very slow but if the reindeer or musk oxen doesn't notice the polar bear will try to ambush the creature and eat it. Most of the time they don't finish their food so an Arctic Fox or a seagull might come and finish it up. Its tail length is about 3 to 5 inches! Well thats all about my favorite animal!
